THE ALMIGHTY Frontman Produces CONFEDERACY OF HORSEPOWER

January 4, 2008

THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick has issued the following update:

"I have spent the last two weeks producing the debut album by a bunch of Long Beach/Hollywood/OC desperados called CONFEDERACY OF HORSEPOWER. This is the first full-length album that I have produced for another artist and I have had a lot of fun doing it. The guys have a fantastic work ethic and some great songs. If you like loud guitars, thunderous drums and in-yer-face vocals, then this is the band for you. No ProTools in sight, this music was recorded raw, live and fast the only way it should. They kinda remind me of the NEW YORK DOLLS meets CIRCUS OF POWER partying with JUNKYARD. The album will be out early 2008."

Warwick supported CHEAP TRICK on December 31, 2007 (New Year's Eve) at The Canyon Club in Los Angeles, California.

As previously reported, Warwick will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guest on Friday, January 11 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. U.K. time at BBC.co.uk.

THE ALMIGHTY issued its first-ever comprehensive career retrospective, entitled "Anth'f**ing'ology (The Gospel According To...)", in CD/DVD format in February 2007 via Sanctuary/Castle. The set includes all of the band's thirteen U.K. singles plus bonus tracks taken from all of its seven studio albums to date. The DVD features all the promo videos for all the singles.
